Philia - Other Appearances
Being from the second Tales game ever, Philia has had her fair number of chances to appear in other Tales titles as a cameo appearance.
Tales of the Abyss
The Tales series has had an off-and-on tradition of featuring previous characters in the Coliseum exhibition matches, and this is where I first met Philia; in Tales of the Abyss, in a special match, Philia appears alongside Mint Adenade (Tales of Phantasia) and Reid Hershel (Tales of Eternia) in Baticul. Typically, players will take out Mint first as she's able to heal her allies, and then switch between Philia and Reid since Philia can cast devastating spells and Reid can attack like crazy with his sword. This is the first appearance of Philia's Mystic Arte, Sacred Penance (original Japanese: Sacred Blame); this later appears as her Burst Caliber in the Tales of Destiny Remake as well as reused as the Mystic Arte for Estelle in Tales of Vesperia.
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
Philia has a rather minor role as a Guild clerk in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology for the Sony PSP. She's featured in a few skits, for instance gushing over Garr, but other than that she doens't do much since she's not a playable character. She is also slated to appear in the sequel, Radiant Mythology 2, but it is still unknown whether or not she will reprise her role as a clerk or be a fully playable character.
