Favorite Characters
These are a few characters who I consider my favorites. I'll list them in no particular order.
Umi Ryuuzaki
Umi Ryuuzaki is a character from the series Magic Knight Rayearth by CLAMP, released in the early-mid nineties. I remember the first Thai dubbed episode I saw was Selece's awakening, and I immediately fell in love with Umi. I saw a lot of similarities between the two of us, and I found her to be a very realistic character while Hikaru and Fuu didn't interest me. She is someone I can always look back to and proudly say "yes, she was a favorite character of mine" rather than fading away into the abyss.
Tifa Lockhart
Final Fantasy VII was the first Playstation game I've played, and the second RPG I ever played. While playing through the game, I found Tifa to be a very deep, interesting, and likeable character. I also like the fact that more of her character is exposed in Advent Children. Despite my dislike of inhuman chest sizes, I find her to be very pretty. She has many layers, and despite her tough exterior, she's also very sensitive.
Flonne
A character from the Disgaea series of videogames, Flonne is basically the only cutesy happy character I like. This is because she is actually very interesting; despite being in an unfamiliar place, she always maintains her happy demeanor and sunny disposition. Her ending is also sooooo sad...
Miang Hawwa
While not my favorite character from Xenogears (that position is reserved for Emeralda), I really like Miang. She's a fascinating character with a deep past and is really somebody to be pitied, really. That and I don't like Fei or Elly, lol. There is so much potential in her to be angsty and such, but sadly enough nobody seems to even give her a second look.
Sayoko Mishima
Sayoko Mishima is a character in the Ah! My Goddess franchise, and has appeared in many of the continuities and spinoffs except for the movie and Mini-Goddesses. I find her to be a fascinating character with a lot of depth that a lot of people don't bother to look into, sadly enough, since everyone's always focusing on the goddesses. I can say without a doubt that she is my favorite character in the series, although I only recognized this long after the fact that she is no longer part of the manga continuity.
Luke fon Fabre
Luke fon Fabre is probably the very first character I can say really soulbounds with me, even moreso than Umi Ryuuzaki. The things he goes through is similar to how my own formative years were, unfortunately, and I can identify a lot with him. I also find it really annoying how the fandumb likes to just focus on gaying him up rather than explore his deep and profound character.
