Voice Actors
Chester had quite a few voice actors over the incarnations of Tales of Phantasia.
Takeshi Kusao
This is the same seiyuu who did Cress' voice. I suppose since Chester had so few actual spoken voice clips in the original, they felt it was okay to just have Mr. Kusao record a few more clips in another voice.
Kentarou Itou
Mr. Itou provided Chester's voice in all of the remakes of Tales of Phantasia, as well as the Animation. He's a rather prolific seiyuu. His roles include Rockman X in Rockman X 4, Abarai Renji in Bleach, Yuhi Aogiri in Ayashi no Ceres, Tetsuo Kaga from Hikaru no Go, and Chouji Akimichi from Naruto. Peter Von Gomm
Mr. Von Gomm provided Chester's voice clips in the GBA localization by Nintendo. Most likely Nintendo just found somebody somewhere to record voice clips, rather than attain high profile actors... which makes sense, really. You can't blame them.
David Vincent
Mr. Vincent provides Chester's voice in the Animation's localization by Geneon. Mr. Vincent may be a newer voice actor, as not many roles are under his belt. Notable roles right now would include recent titles, such as Assassin from Fate/stay night and Van from GUNxSWORD. I tried googling him a while ago and I got a Satanic rocker. Luckily, now we have a Wikipedia article on him. You can find a little more information on his roles at Anime News Network.
